Our Team

Mr Don Houpt has over 20 years experience in real estate acquisitions. He began his career at CB Richard Ellis, and since 1989, has been acquiring, developing and selling properties in California and the Midwest. In his career, he has acquired/developed over 2,000,000 square feet of commercial real estate and his rate of return has been in excess of 30%. Mr. Houpt also ran his own design/build development company, Kiesland Construction, for 15 years. Mr. Houpt has been a member of NAIOP since 1985 and is a Past President of the Cincinnati Chapter and the past President of the National Private Developer Forum of NAIOP. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Economics and has a JD in real estate law from William Mitchell College of Law. Mr. Houpt lives in Carmel, CA with his wife Hilary and their two children.

Mr. Alex Tsai has 17 years of diversified international management experience in technology, operations, supply chain management, mergers and acquisitions at Toshiba Microelectronics, TECH Semiconductor, International Rectifier and China Wheel Company. Recently as COO at China Wheel Company, he developed manufacturing and sourcing strategy to build it into a leading supplier of after-market custom aluminum wheels in North America. He graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from University of California, Davis, a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and completed his executive education, The General Manager Program (TGMP), at Harvard Business School.
